At my school, there is a chair in my classroom that I always imagine has a personality of its own. Every time I sit down too loudly or move it carelessly, it makes a loud squeak as if it is complaining. Sometimes I feel like it is “talking back” to me, reminding me to sit properly and behave more carefully during class.
In my imagination, this chair has seen everything that happens in the classroom. It knows who is sleepy, who is bored, and who is secretly passing notes during lessons. Even though it is just an ordinary piece of furniture, thinking about it as a talking chair makes school life more funny and interesting.
